May-05, 1752 is the birthday of German physicist, mathematician and astronomer Johann Tobias, who founded proof of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Johann Tobias Mayer was born on May 5, 1752 in Gottingen, the first son of Tobias Mayer and Mary. His father was a professor of geophysics, physics and astronomy at Gottingen. The father died in Mayor's tenth year. In 1769, Gottingen taught theology and philosophy at George Augustus University. This was the new university that was just started under Abraham Gothelph Kasutner. After Kasutner, it was run under George Christian's Ilchtenberg. After graduating in 1773, he worked as a mathematician and astronomer. Invited by the University of Althorf on November 17, 1779. He worked there from 1780 to 1786.
He then taught mathematics and physics at Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Nuremberg. In 1799 he headed the University of Utrecht after the Ilichtenberg at Gottingen.

His students include Enoch Kieran Dirksen. After Dirkson graduated in 1820, Carl Kusudov became a mentor to Jacob. Mayor and his wife, Johanna, had five children. Pythagoras' theoretical account of Ilyardo da Vinci is now thought to have been founded by Mayor in 1772.
Mayer is best known for his mathematical and natural sciences. His 1801 physics textbook Anfangsgründe der Naturlehre zum Behuf der Vorlesungen über die Experimental-Physik had a profound impact on German-speaking countries. His astronomical and practical physics studies were published in the journal Annalen der Physik. The German physicist who founded the Pythagorean Theorem, Johann Tobias Mayer, left his world in Gottingen on November 30, 1830, in his 78th year.
